In 2021, the city hired the architectural firm Quinn Evans to develop a master plan study for the Sherwood Shopping Center, where the new library would anchor the development. It is not buildings that create memories, in my opinion, but the experiences that occur there. The diagrid frame, engineered by StructureCraft, utilizes tight-fit dowels and glulam beams to create a strong, all-wood structure. Meyer’s newspaper, Ελληνικά Χρονικά (meaning Greek Chronicles) was Greece’s first newspaper, and it was financed by celebrated poet Lord Byron.
